The Victorian Minister for Education, John Lenders, said recently, “Good
leadership requires, among other things, a vision, goals, a strong work ethic and the ability to make decisions.” He could have been referring to Janenne Willis, a leader, facilitator, marketing maverick and business development expert and now ex-footballer Paul Salmon’s right hand.
In 2006, Janenne Willis graduated from the exclusive Leadership Victoria’s Williamson Community Leadership program. She was among 35 graduates of an intense course in community leadership that explores the issues facing Victoria in the next ten years.
The course is wish fulfilment for Janenne. After spending her career, thus far, working in consumer and industrial services in large corporate environments, graduation meant she could offer her skills pro bono to non-profit community organisations. It meant she could give something back to society for the lifelong learning she has enjoyed.
